HENNA DESIGN ON CANDLES
Hi friends, good morning, today I am writing you after inspired by one of my friend yesterday.
I have decorated so many candles with the henna design. Today I wanted to show how you can decorate your candles.
For this you need following necessary things,
- Candle
- Henna cone
- Glitter Glue
- Mod podge
- One paint brush
First of all you collect all necessary things you need for your henna design on candle. After this choose any simple henna design you would like to do on your candle. If you do not know how to use henna cone, do not worry about that. To solve this, first you draw your design on paper and then try it with the use of henna cone. You can remove the design from the candle if you are not satisfied with your design. You can draw just simple flower also on your candle. After you draw your design just keep the candle aside until it get dried. After half an hour just check it either it get dried or not. If you want to use glitter glue in your design, I would like to suggest do not use much more glitter, you just put few dotes or lines in your design with this. You need to let it dry again for few minutes. When you feel that your design is totally dried the next step is to fix your design on candle.
Mod podge is one of the product which I have used to fixed my design on candle. Take a new paint brush and dip it in to the Mod podge. What you have to do is, you have to do one thin layer of the Mod podge on your design with the use of the brush. You can do this as same like you do the painting with the use of the paint colours. Just make a cote of the Mod podge on your design and you can see white layer when this layer is wet on your design. It get transparent when it get dried and your candle with henna design is ready.
You can use this candle for decoration purpose, and also you can give this as a Diwali gift or Christmas gifts or as a birthday gift and you can use this in wedding decorations too.
All the products which we are using for this are easily available in stores or you can get it online.
I have used matte finish mod podge and white-creamy candle.
These are my few candles pictures.
Feel free to write if you like my blog.
From,
Shivani
